“第7屆Fresh Winds國際藝術雙年展_2022-2023”
今年冰島“第七屆國際藝術雙年展-新風”的主題是「光」。「光」字的甲骨文像火在人頭上的形狀。人舉著火表示火種常在，光明永存，本義則是明亮。而建築物的窗勾勒著風景，也創造出一幅人與自然關係的光景。
這是我第二次參與「Fresh Winds國際藝術雙年展」計畫。此次駐村期間歷經了幾次的暴風雪，而這經驗也興起了我製作如暴風雪般的窗景作品計畫想法。我選擇了當地博物館後方的區域，在落地窗的前方製作了另一扇窗，在窗景外創造出另一面光景。作品的材料來自於上一屆藝術家Jordi作品的木料。我以自然為核心，使用回收的木料創造出一件如風暴般的自然雕塑。作品在強力氣旋的圍繞下有著平靜的視角。可穿透的中心除了觀看之外，彰顯著自然流動的本體，回應著永續環境的未來「光」景。

“The 7th International Art Biennale-Fresh Winds_2022-2023”
The “The 7th International Art Biennale-Fresh Winds” theme in Iceland is “ The Light” this year. The oracle bone text of the word "light" is like the shape of fire on the human head. People lift the fire and indicate that the tinder is often there, the light forever exists, and the original meaning is bright. The window of the building is outlined with the landscapes and also creates a relationship scene between humans and nature.
This is the second time I have participated in the "Fresh Winds International Art Biennale" project. During this time in the Artist-in-Residence, I have gone through a few snowstorms, and this experience also gave me the idea of making a snowstorm-like window scenery. I chose the area behind the local museum and made another window in front of the floor-to-ceiling window to create another scene outside the window scene. The materials of the work come from the wood of the previous artist Jordi's work. With nature as the core, I use recycled wood to create a natural sculpture like a storm. The work has a calm view of the strong cyclone. In addition to watching through the center, it expresses the ontology of natural flow and response to the future “Bright scenery” of the sustainable environment.
