The Chenglong wetlands in Kouhu Township, Yunlin County were originally vast farmlands. However, after the strata subsidence and typhoon Wayne(1986) and typhoon Herb(1996), the farmlands became wetlands due to the accumulation of water. Now this land has become a habitat for many birds, and has also spawned many aquatic plants and become an important ecological environment in Yunlin County.

The "Eye of the Wetlands" is a work located in the Sunset Park of Chenglong wetlands. The work starts with the conception of water and enters this ecology with the softness of water. It combines the trees and the wooden gazebo here, and the woven space in front of the beautiful sunset in the wetlands to create a natural sculpture with a flowing shape. It is like the eye of nature, watching the land changes, and weaving our common dreams and imagination of the future of the land.
