Gangwon Art Habitat

" Art Nomadic" series is the project of considering the artist as a site-specific organism. It's also the art event of creation according to her/his own habits and unique artistic point of view, and then creating an artistic niche in a specific field.

This art habitat located at the forest in Gangwon-do, south korea. I make the artwork with the natural materials which can be decomposed. Therefrom, we can treat the environment friendly and work in concert with the environmental sustainability at the same time. The artwork adopts the shape of outdoor shelter and we can get close to the land through the experiences of my camping in the nature.

It looks like we always looking for a expectation for waiting the sunrise with a beautiful landscape. We can see the looming shape of circle in the shadow through the afternoon sunshine. It's not only the temporary habitat for the livings but also It declares indirectly the immigrated and diaspora status of people on the land during the enclosure battle of territories.
