「種子」作品的構想來自於溼地裡的植物。溼地植物可以定沙保護魚塭堤岸，也能夠為溼地裡的魚類提供遮陽處所與食用，也是鳥類築巢的材料。雕塑以流線的姿態佇立於溼地中，就像一顆巨大的種子，與濕地美麗的景致合為一體。它是溼地裡的自然雕塑，一處鳥類停留的棲所，也是大地上的與自然共存的「種子」。
