The Ripple project is a series of nature-based artworks that reorganize and recompose locally sourced natural materials to reveal the physical phenomenon of expansion. Through these gestures, the project allows the energy of nature to continuously ripple across landscapes in different parts of the world. With minimal intervention, each work responds to its specific site, incorporating material, terrain, and time into an ongoing process of formation.

Darmstadt Ripple is situated in a forest in Darmstadt, Germany. In this woodland, the falling of large trees has created a landscape of depressions and mounds, leaving visible traces of natural transformation. I collected fallen branches from the forest and arranged them within these sunken areas in an ordered, radial formation, extending outward from a central point. This expanding structure echoes the rhythms of ripples, responding to the inherent order and constant change of the natural world.
