作品概念：

2017年時我受邀參與日本的「2017日本北阿爾卑斯國際藝術祭」。我思考著台灣與日本的自然環境與地理位置，試著找到一種共同與自然生活的自然力量。台灣與日本都是在颱風環境下生存的島嶼國家，也在每年颱風行經的路徑上。颱風帶來適量的雨水滋養萬物，有時卻帶來豪雨而引發災情。而這種特殊的氣象牽引著我們的生活、經濟與文化。因此這件作品我以這股自然力的形象作為台灣與日本兩地之間生活關係的串連，並在日本長野縣的鷹狩山山頂進行現地製作。

我與工作團隊和當地的志工們收集著現地的樹枝，將它以麻繩綑綁後，組成一個狀似狂動的氣旋自然雕塑。在現在快速地都市發展與科技生活底下，我透過這一個在山林間的颱風形象雕塑來提醒我們回看我們所生活的環境與土地。以風為媒介來傳遞自然的訊息與人與自然共存的生態平衡關係。

Work conception:

The main issue of the work is wind. The wind as a medium and it transmits the natural message.

Taiwan and Japan also in the path of typhoons, they sometimes bring the right amount of rain nourishing all things, besides, they also bring heavy rains caused the disaster. We are all island countries living in the typhoon environment, and this special weather influences our lives, economy and culture. Therefore, I use the natural force as the living relationship link Taiwan and Japan.

This is a typhoon sculpture in the forest. I collected the branches from the site of the work and formed it into a wild cyclone natural sculpture. In our rapidly developing urban and life of technology, it reminds us to look back at our environment and the land we live in, and also declares the ecological balance coexist between human and nature.

作品詳細:

鷹狩山の展望台近くの森の木や枝を使った彫刻作品。

テーマは風。

自然のメッセージを運ぶ媒介である風の力を借りた、激しい大爆風の姿をした作品が森に現れる。

現地の地形や木の配置などを考慮しつつ、作品は直径30m前後となる予定だが、機械に頼らず、台湾と日本のスタッフが協働して手作業で制作される。

どちらも台風の通り道である台湾と日本の関係性とともに、人間と自然の生態学的バランスの重要性を表した作品。
