《2011臺北感-信息瀑布》

臺北,一個訊息交換快速的城市,速度生活的都會,人於其中是有感還是無感,密集的生活模式當中表現出來的是無感的有感偽裝,還是假裝有感的無感狀態?一個一天24小時被訊息所淹沒的地方,一個感統極易失調的城市,那到底,什麼是臺北?又何謂『臺北感!』?

在步調快速感統極易失調的臺北城,選擇在臺北進行『臺北感…』裝置,持續延續對於當下材質的取用考量。那鋪天蓋地、無所不在的信息與資訊是城市相較於其他環境區域突出的特性,這些信息資訊在與人融合後所產生的種種,直接影響並塑造出人在裡頭生活的品質與樣貌,並進而成為區域性的標的與所指,於是成為我此次選取的素材。

這些紙張耗料承載著作者2011年的生活信息,關於備忘、工作交流、交易單據、發票、帳單及許多證明文件等等,是生存交易的過渡文件,是生活的部分證據,也是線索的所在與過往的刻痕印跡。這些生活的部分文件是在臺北城現實裡頭工作的必須,在延續經濟的同時也是負壓的所在,是每段美麗結晶前種種故事,在相兩衝突的紙條意義背後交織出一道道的信息瀑布。而文字與語言往往無法完整的訴說一切,就讓素材(作品)自行言說,或許更能夠貼近於那所看不見摸不著的的抽象思維樣貌。

生活的價值在於那不可見的精神能動與流動,創作者即是生活的觀察者,每一個過程的轉化即是那往回看的過渡再現,過去的成為現在,使得那毫不起眼的耗料顯現著生活時空變動中種種軌跡的存在。

 

《Perception of Taipei-Information waterfall 2011》 Performance

Tapiei is a city of fast message exchanges, a speed of life where people feel nothing, an intense lifestyle manifested in camouflaging feelings or pretending not to have a sense of state ? With overwhelming information 24 hours a day, there is an easy sense of integration disorder within the city, but in the end, what is Taipei?

Regarding "Perception of Taipei ..."?

In the fast-paced highly sensory integration disorder, Taipei City, I chose to create my "Perception of Taipei ..." installment art, using materials directly related to the city: The overwhelming omnipresent information and it’s environment in urban areas compared to other prominent features, information and people. A direct impact is manifested on people’s quality of life from inside and outside. Therefore, the unique feature created from the city is information which had led me to select this material.

The material on the paper carries the information of my life in 2011, my memos, work exchange, transaction documents, invoices, bills, and many other documents. In order to survive you must use the transaction file as part of the evidence of life, where the clue is traced as though from a chess board. These files are part of life in Taipei City but real work must be inside, and the continuation of the economy where there is negative pressure and the crystallization front is beautiful and each contain their own stores, yet in conflict with the meaning behind cutting out a piece of paper for the information channel waterfalls. The text and language are often unable to completely say everything so the material (work) has it’s own speech, perhaps more sense can be made than that of the invisible faces in abstract thinking.

The value of life lies in the invisible spirit which is active and mobile, meanig, the creator is an observer of life, every process is then converted back to see the transition and reproduces the past into the present, feeding consumption and showing spatial, temporal changes of life in the presence of various patterns.
